Thank you for choosing Spinasshop. We are an Italian furniture maker and online shop and we take your privacy seriously. This page explains what information we collect when you visit www.atidas.co.uk or contact us by phone, email or chat, why we need it, how we keep it safe and the rights you have under UK and EU data-protection law.
Information we collect
When you place an order we ask for your name, billing and delivery address, phone number and email address so we can process payment, arrange shipping and keep you updated. Your card details are handled by Shopify Payments, Stripe or PayPal; we never see or store your full card number. We also keep a record of the items you buy and any messages you send to our customer-service team. When you browse the site our servers automatically log your IP address, browser type and the pages you view through Shopify, Google Analytics and Cloudflare so we can monitor performance, fix errors and prevent fraud. If you sign up to our newsletter we store your email address until you choose to unsubscribe.
How we use your information
We use the data to fulfil your order, deliver your furniture, provide customer support, handle returns, prevent fraud, meet our accounting obligations and, only if you have agreed, send you marketing emails about new products or special offers. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects.
Legal basis for processing
We process your personal data because it is necessary to perform the contract we have with you, because we have a legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and improving our products, because you have given consent to marketing, and because we are legally required to keep accounting records.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for seven years from the date of your last purchase to meet UK and Italian tax rules and then delete or anonymise them. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe.
Who we share it with
We share your name, address and phone number with our couriers DPD, DHL, FedEx or Palletforce so they can deliver your furniture. Payment details are shared only with the payment gateway you choose. IT service providers such as Shopify, Google, Cloudflare and Mailchimp process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements. We will never sell, rent or trade your personal information.
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct any mistakes, to delete data that is no longer necessary, to restrict or object to certain processing, to receive a copy of your data in a portable format and to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office or the Italian Garante. Simply email privacy@atidas.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
Cookies
We use only functional cookies that keep the site running and analytics cookies that help us understand how visitors use the store. We do not set advertising cookies without your explicit consent. You can control or refuse cookies through the cookie banner or your browser settings.
International transfers
Your data may be stored on secure servers located in the European Union or the United States. Whenever data leaves the UK or EEA we use EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to protect your rights.
Security
We protect your data with TLS 1.3 encryption, hashed passwords, daily malware scans and regular security updates. All payments are processed in line with PCI-DSS standards.
Children
Our website is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

If we change the way we handle personal data we will post the updated policy on this page and, where the changes are significant, email you so you can review them.
