This Shipping Policy explains our delivery options, costs, timeframes, and what to expect when your order arrives. We work with trusted UK couriers to ensure your items reach you in perfect condition.

Delivery Coverage
We deliver to addresses throughout the United Kingdom mainland, including England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
Special Delivery Areas: Some locations require additional arrangements:

Delivery Timeframes
Delivery times vary depending on the size and type of items you order. Here’s what to expect:

These are estimated timeframes. We’ll provide a more specific delivery estimate when you place your order, and we’ll send you tracking information as soon as your items are dispatched.
Peak Periods: During busy times like Christmas, Bank Holidays, or sale periods, delivery may take longer. We’ll notify you of any expected delays when you order.
Delivery Costs
Shipping costs depend on your order value, delivery location, and the size of items you’re ordering.
Delivery Rates
- Standard: Free Shipping
- Fast: 4.95£ Charges
Multiple Items: If your order contains both standard and large items, the higher delivery rate applies to the entire order.
Remote Areas: Additional surcharges of £10-£25 may apply to Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, and certain remote postcodes. You’ll see any extra charges at checkout before payment.
Free Delivery Promotions
We occasionally offer free delivery promotions. Promotional codes and terms will be clearly displayed on our website and in marketing emails. Free delivery offers typically apply to UK mainland addresses only and exclude remote areas unless stated otherwise.
How Delivery Works
Order Confirmation
Once you place your order, you’ll receive an immediate email confirmation with your order number and summary. This confirms we’ve received your order, but it doesn’t mean it’s been dispatched yet.
Processing Your Order
We’ll prepare your items for dispatch. For standard items, this takes 1-2 working days. For larger furniture or made-to-order pieces, processing takes longer.
Dispatch Notification
When your order leaves our warehouse, we’ll email you with:
Dispatch confirmation Tracking number and link Estimated delivery date Courier contact information
Delivery Notification
Our courier partners (Royal Mail, DPD, or specialist furniture couriers) will contact you directly to:
Confirm your delivery address Provide a delivery window (usually AM or PM) Allow you to reschedule if needed (subject to courier terms)
For large furniture deliveries, you’ll typically receive a call the day before to arrange a convenient 2-4 hour delivery window.
Delivery Arrival
Please ensure someone aged 18+ is available to accept delivery at your specified address. Our drivers may ask for ID and a signature to confirm receipt.
Types of Delivery Service
Standard Doorstep Delivery
Included with all orders. The courier will deliver items to your doorstep, ground floor entrance, or building reception. This service doesn’t include:
Carrying items upstairs Unpacking or assembly Removal of packaging materials Delivery to a specific room
Perfect for: Rugs, mats, artificial plants, flat-pack furniture, and items you can easily move yourself.
Room of Choice Delivery
Available for large furniture items. The delivery team will:
Bring items into your home Place them in your chosen ground-floor room Remove outer packaging (inner packaging remains for your protection)
Cost: Included with large furniture deliveries over £500, or £25 for orders under £500
White Glove Delivery Service
Our premium service for the ultimate convenience:
Delivery to any room (including upstairs) Full unpacking and inspection with you Assembly of furniture (if applicable) Removal of all packaging materials Positioning furniture exactly where you want it
Cost: £75-£150 depending on item size and delivery location

Tracking Your Order
Once dispatched, you can track your delivery in real-time using the tracking link in your dispatch email. You’ll see:
Current location of your parcel Estimated delivery date Any delays or updates Driver contact details (for some couriers)
If you can’t find your tracking email, contact us with your order number and we’ll resend it immediately.
What to Do When Your Delivery Arrives
Before Signing
Check the packaging for visible damage before accepting delivery Count the items to ensure everything is there Note any concerns with the courier before signing
If packaging is damaged or items are missing, make a note on the delivery receipt before signing, and take photos. Then contact us within 48 hours at support@spinasshop.com.
After Delivery
Inspect your items as soon as possible after the courier leaves:
Check for damage that wasn’t visible through packaging Verify you received the correct items by checking your order confirmation Ensure all parts and fixings are included for furniture items
If you discover any problems, contact us within 48 hours with photos and your order number. We’ll arrange a replacement or collection quickly.
Missed Deliveries
If you miss a delivery, the courier will usually:
Leave a card with instructions for redelivery or collection Attempt delivery again the next working day Hold items at a local depot for 7-14 days
Redelivery Fees: First redelivery attempts are usually free, but subsequent redeliveries may incur charges from the courier (typically £10-£15). We’ll contact you if this applies.
If items are returned to us because delivery couldn’t be completed, you’ll need to pay for redelivery. To avoid this, please:
Ensure your delivery address and contact number are correct Be available during your delivery window Respond to courier calls and messages promptly
Delivery Issues and Support
We understand that sometimes things don’t go to plan. Here’s how we handle common issues:
Delayed Deliveries: If your order is significantly delayed, contact us and we’ll investigate with the courier. We’ll keep you updated and find a solution.
Damaged Items: Report damage within 48 hours with photos. We’ll arrange a free replacement or collection and full refund.
Wrong Items: If we sent the wrong item, we’ll collect it for free and send the correct item at no extra cost.
Missing Items: If part of your order is missing, contact us immediately and we’ll dispatch the missing items right away.
Lost Parcels: If your tracking shows your parcel is lost, contact us after 10 working days and we’ll open an investigation. Once confirmed lost, we’ll send a replacement or provide a full refund.
Order Changes and Cancellations
Before Dispatch: You can cancel or change your order anytime before it’s dispatched. Contact us as soon as possible at support@spinasshop.com. If we haven’t processed your order yet, we’ll cancel it for a full refund.
After Dispatch: Once dispatched, you can’t cancel the delivery, but you have 14 days from receiving your order to return it under our Returns Policy. You’ll be responsible for return postage costs.
Delivery Address Changes: Contact us immediately if you need to change your delivery address. We’ll try to update it with the courier, but this isn’t always possible once items are in transit.
Delivery During Peak Times
During busy periods (Christmas, Black Friday, Bank Holidays), our couriers handle increased volumes and delivery times may be extended by 2-5 working days. We’ll inform you of any expected delays when you place your order.

Safe Place Deliveries
For smaller items (rugs, mats, artificial plants), you can often request a “safe place” delivery where the courier leaves your parcel in a specified location without a signature. Options include:
A porch or covered area With a neighbor Behind a bin or gate
This option isn’t available for large or high-value furniture items. You can specify a safe place in the delivery notes at checkout or through the courier’s tracking system.
