These terms apply to all orders placed through our website. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you’re at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into binding contracts under UK law.

Placing an Order

How Orders Work

When you place an order on our website, you’re making an offer to buy the products in your basket. We’ll send you an email confirming we’ve received your order, but this doesn’t mean we’ve accepted it yet. Your order is only confirmed when we send you a dispatch confirmation email with tracking details. Until that point, we reserve the right to decline your order if products are unavailable, pricing errors occur, or payment can’t be verified.

Product Information

We work hard to display our furniture, rugs, mats, and artificial plants accurately on our website, including descriptions, dimensions, materials, and colors. However, please note that colors may vary slightly depending on your screen settings. All measurements are approximate and provided as a guide. We recommend measuring your space carefully before ordering, especially for larger furniture pieces and dining sets.

Pricing and Payment

All prices are in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT at the current rate unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout and vary based on your location and the size of your order.

We accept payment via major credit and debit cards, PayPal, Stripe, and Klarna. Payment is taken when you place your order. If we can’t process your payment or suspect fraudulent activity, we may cancel your order and notify you immediately.

Occasionally, pricing errors happen. If we discover a significant pricing mistake after you’ve ordered, we’ll contact you and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel with a full refund.

Delivery

Delivery Times and Areas

We deliver throughout the UK mainland. Standard delivery typically takes 5-10 working days from dispatch, though larger furniture items may require 2-3 weeks. We’ll provide an estimated delivery timeframe when you order and send tracking information once your items are dispatched.

Remote areas, Scottish Highlands, and Northern Ireland may incur additional delivery charges or extended timeframes. We’ll notify you of any additional costs before confirming your order.

Receiving Your Delivery

Please ensure someone is available to accept delivery at your chosen address. Our couriers will contact you to arrange a convenient delivery window. If you miss a delivery, redelivery fees may apply.

For large furniture items, our delivery service includes delivery to your door or ground floor. If you need help moving items upstairs or assembling furniture, please contact us about our white glove delivery service (additional charges apply).

Please inspect your delivery immediately. If packaging is damaged or items are missing, note this with the courier and contact us within 48 hours at support@spinasshop.com. We’ll arrange a replacement or resolution quickly.

Returns and Refunds

Your Right to Cancel

Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have 14 days from receiving your order to change your mind and return items for a full refund. To cancel, email us at support@spinasshop.com with your order number and the items you wish to return.

You’ll have another 14 days to return the items to us. Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in resalable condition. You’re responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty or we sent the wrong product.

Returns Process

Before returning anything, please contact us for a returns authorization and instructions. We can’t accept returns without prior authorization. Pack items carefully using the original packaging where possible. You’re responsible for the items until they reach us, so we recommend using tracked and insured delivery.

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll process your refund within 14 days to your original payment method. We’ll refund the product cost and original delivery charge (if you’re returning everything from the order). Return postage costs aren’t refunded unless the return is due to our error.

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene reasons, we can’t accept returns on artificial plants or mats that have been unpacked and used. Custom-made or bespoke furniture items made to your specifications also can’t be returned unless faulty.

Faulty or Damaged Items

If you receive a damaged or faulty item, contact us immediately with photos. We’ll arrange a free collection and send a replacement or provide a full refund, including any delivery charges. Your statutory rights aren’t affected by these terms.

Product Warranties

All our furniture, rugs, mats, and artificial plants come with a manufacturer’s warranty against defects. Warranty periods vary by product and manufacturer, typically ranging from 1-3 years. Warranty details are provided with your delivery.

Warranties don’t cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, or damage from incorrect assembly. To claim under warranty, contact us with proof of purchase and details of the fault.

Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including images, descriptions, logos, and design, is owned by PATRICK DEALS LTD or our suppliers and protected by UK copyright law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use this content without our written permission.

If you share photos of our products using our virtual room planner or on social media, you grant us permission to use these images for marketing purposes with credit to you.

Limitation of Liability

We’ll always do our best to provide excellent service, but we must set out our legal responsibilities clearly. We accept full liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, and we won’t exclude liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

For other claims, our liability is limited to the value of your order. We’re not liable for indirect losses like loss of profits, business interruption, or loss of opportunity.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions occasionally to reflect changes in our business or legal requirements. Updates will be posted on our website with a new date. Continued use of our website after changes means you accept the new terms. Orders placed before changes are governed by the terms in effect at that time.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales, though this doesn’t affect your statutory consumer rights.
